João Quinteiro | Musical Director
João Quinteiro is a composer and PhD researcher at FCSH - Kunstuniversität Graz - Fondazionne Archivio Luigi Nono.
He studied with Isabel Soveral, João Pedro Oliveira, Evgueni Zoudilkine, Emmanuel Nunes and Beat Furrer, having contacted also with B. Ferneyhough, P. Billone and H. Lachenmann.
He is in the Board of Directors of APC.
His music has ben performed, awarded and commissioned in Europe and thee USA by the Gulbenkian Orchestra, Lisbon Ensemble 20/21, GMCL, Vertixe Sonora, Opuspiritum Ensemble, Mise-en Ensemble, Kodu Percussion Group and Miso-Music.

Alexandre Furtado | Sound Wizard
Insular, natural from São Miguel, Azores, Alexandre Furtado carries a trajectory marked by a fascination with sound technology, which began with a passion for electric guitar and multimedia in his childhood. Throughout his career as a sound engineer, Alexandre has dedicated himself to the development of technical skills, focusing particularly on sound post-production and live operation. He currently collaborates with musical projects and theater companies. The move to Lisbon, initially to study Computer Science at IST, proved to be a turning point as he discovered a greater alignment of interests in Music Technologies at Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa, where he is currently concluding his studies.

Clara Saleiro | Flute
Clara Saleiro is a flutist specialized in the interpretation of contemporary music. She's interested in the creative process of pieces and performances, the possible interactions between interpreter and composer and between music and other artistic areas, the symbiosis with electronic music and digital technology, and the interpretation of notated music as well as improvisation. She's regularly invited to collaborate with different ensembles and with exploratory and improvised music groups. Every year, she debuts dozens of pieces from composers with whom she works directly.

Teresa Costa | Flute
Teresa Costa is a flautist from Porto. Her work is divided between contemporary music performance, early music, orchestra and projects of an interdisciplinary nature. She completed her master's degree in Amsterdam in 2021. In 2023 he joined the Gustav Mahler Academy and the ULYSSES Ensemble, and then the Ensemble Intercontemporain at IRCAM's ManiFeste festival. She has collaborated with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, the Remix Ensemble Casa da Música, the De Nieuwe Philharmonie Utrecht, the Jong Nederlands Blazers Ensemble and the Residentie Orkest. She is active in contemporary and/or original music projects such as duo Suzanne, Ladrem, pardais!, Sketch351, EUPNEA and Novelo Vago.

Miguel Dias | Oboe
Miguel Dias began his studies at the Music Center of the Conservatório de Coimbra in Sertã, joining the Filarmónica União Sertaginense a year later. He attended the Curso Profissional de Instrumentista de Sopro at the Conservatório de Artes de Tomar Canto Firme. Throughout his career he studied with the teachers, Salomé Alves, Leandro Alves, Sofia Brito and Ricardo Lopes, teacher with whom he is currently studying in the Music Degree at the Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa, he has collaborated with several institutions and orchestras, integrating in 2022, as a founding member, the Concrète [Lab] Ensemble.

Mariana Oliveira | Oboe
Mariana Pereira de Oliveira began her studies at the Conservatório e Artes do Centro, and later went on to attend the Escola de Música e Artes de Ourém where she acquired the course of wind instrumentalist. He is currently studying for a degree at the Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa. During this phase, he had as teachers Vânia Miguel, Salomé Alves and, currently, Pedro Ribeiro. He had the opportunity to have worked with some conductors in orchestra and is currently one of the founding members of Concrète Lab Ensemble.

Tiago Mourato | Clarinet
Tiago Mourato began his musical career in the Banda Operária Torrejana. He then joined the Choral Phydellius Conservatory of Music in the Clarinet class of professors Vítor Ferreira and Ricardo Gama. He participated in some competitions such as the "IX National Young Clarinetists Competition'' having reached the final phase and in the "III International José Massarão Competition", where he reached the final. Currently, he is a student in the 1st year of the Degree in Music - Orchestra Instrumentalist at the Academia Nacional Superior de Orquestra in the Clarinet class of professor Nuno Silva.

Roberto Arcãleanu | Bassoon
Roberto entered the music world in 2014 at the Conservatório D' Artes de Loures in the bassoon class of teacher Isaac Fernandes, with whom he continued his studies until the 12th grade. His passions are diverse, manifesting themselves mainly in the musical and written arts. In 2022, he began his journey in the world of composition with teacher João Costa. In 2023, he published his first book “Diário de um pensamento viajante” through Atlântico. He joined the class of teachers Vera Dias and Roberto Erculiani at the National Superior Orchestra Academy and participated in the 2024 tour of the Gustav Mahler Jungendorchester and carried out projects with the European Union Youth Orchestra. He has completed his degree in orchestral performance and started the first year of his master's degree at HMDK.

Pedro Rolo | Trombone
Pedro Eduardo Matela Rolo began his studies at the Canto Firme Arts Conservatory in the trombone class of professor André Conde and Nuno Henriques. In 2020 he entered the superior school of music of lisbon where he studies performance in the class of professor Ricardo Pereira. He is a founding member of Concrète [Lab] Ensemble.

Rui C. Antunes | Violin
Rui C. Antunes is a Portuguese violinist and composer living in Leipzig. He is currently studying composition with Fabien Lévy at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater (HMT) in Leipzig, Germany. He studied violin with Carolin Widmann, Friedemann Wezel, and Aníbal Lima.
He had his debut as a composer in 2016, and since then several prizes have been awarded to him, both as violinist and composer. His music has been played in Portugal, Spain, Germany, and Belgium. He regularly plays with various orchestras and ensembles of contemporary music in Germany and Portugal.

Ana Campos | Viola
Ana Campos began her studies in viola at Escola Profissional e Artística do Vale do Ave. She continued her studies at the Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Espetáculo in Porto, with professor Ryszard Wóycicki, in bachelor, and at the Hochschule für Musik und Teather "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" in Leipzig, with professor Tatjana Masurenko, in master's degree.
She has collaborated with several orchestras and chamber music groups.
She won the 3rd prize in the Young Musicians Prize 2012 (viola, superior level) and was awarded a scholarship by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.

Pedro do Carmo | Violoncello
Began his musical studies at the age of 5 at the Academia de Música de Lisboa with Daniela de Brito.
He continued his studies at the Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa, where he studied with P. Gaio Lima and L. Mouradian. He finished his degree at the HKU Utrechts Conservatorium, studying modern cello with Jeroen den Herder and baroque cello with Viola de Hoog.
He was part of the Jovem Orquestra Portuguesa, and is a member of the academy of the Sond'Ar-te Electric Ensemble, specializing in the interpretation of contemporary works with electronics.
He is currently attending a master's degree in performance at Codarts Rotterdam.

Raquel Leite | Double Bass
Raquel Leite completed her 8th degree in double bass at ARTAVE- Escola Profissional Artística do Vale do Ave, with professor Rui Fontes. Currently she attends the music degree at Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa, in the class of professors Manuel Rego and Domingos Ribeiro.
During his career she has worked with several renowned teachers and conductors. She has also collaborated with Orquestra Gulbenkian, Sinfonietta de Ponta Delgada, Orquestra de Câmara Portuguesa, Jovem Orquestra Portuguesa and Jovem Orquestra Famalicense.

Luís Castelo | Guitar
The Portuguese guitarist Luís Castelo started his music studies at home, with his own father. Later, he started studying at the arts conservatory of the city of Tomar, where he finished the 8th grade in the class of professor David Ferreira. At the moment, he is doing his second year of bachelor at the Conservatorium Van Amsterdam at the class of the professor Gabriel Bianco.
Throughout his career, Luís has participated in many competitions and masterclasses, both inside and outside of Portugal.
Nowadays, Luís is part of the new music group Concrète (Lab) Ensemble.

Paulo Amendoeira | Percussion
Paulo is a Portuguese percussionist, performer, and improviser based in Bern, with an education in classical contemporary percussion. His ongoing projects are |klang.data|, side proYect and ruído blanco. He is a member of Concrète [Lab] Ensemble and Cigarra Associação Cultural and maintains ongoing and close collaborations with composers such as Michael Maierhof, Ilona Perger and Jorge Villoslada Durán.
After graduating from the Lisbon School of Music in 2023, where he studied with Pedro Carneiro, Paulo is undertaking a Master's degree at the Hochschule der Künste Bern with Brian Archinal.

Gonçalo Flores | Percussion
Gonçalo Flores began his studies at Ourearte, where he completed the 8th grade in the percussion class of teacher Hugo Ribeiro.
He attended masterclasses with Jeffery Davis, Nuno Aroso, Kuniko Kato and Marco Fernandes, among others. He has also worked with several renowned conductors: Alberto Roque, Alex Schillings and Isabel Rubio Molina, among others.
He is a member of Sociedade Filarmónica Ouriense, the choir Essence Voices and Concrète [Lab] Ensemble.
He is currently attending the Degree in Music - Percussion at the University of Évora, in the class of teacher Marco Fernandes.

Mrika Sefa | Piano
Mrika Sefa is a Portuguese-Kosovar pianist whose artistic activity focuses on the piano, MIDI keyboard, and toy piano, performing in chamber music, contemporary music, and interdisciplinary projects. She graduated from the Pristina Conservatory and continued her studies in Switzerland and Germany, completing master's degrees in Bern, Lucerne, and Leipzig. She has won awards in international competitions and regularly collaborates with singers, ensembles, and contemporary composers. She is the co-founder of the duo Nada Contra (piano/MIDI and percussion). She currently resides in Leipzig, where she works as a freelance pianist, piano teacher, and doctoral student at the Kunst Universität Graz.

Francisco Martins, accordionist, is completing his master's degree in performance at the Castelo Branco School of Applied Arts with Professor Paulo Jorge Ferreira.
A member of Síntese - Grupo de Música Contemporânea, Concrète [Lab] Ensemble, ExoDuo, Lontano Trio and Fragmentos Ensemble, he has also worked with Ensemble MPMP and Camerata Nov'Arte.
He has played in Portugal, Brazil, Cuba, Spain, France, Greece and the Czech Republic. He was awarded 2nd Prize for Accordion in the Young Musicians Prize 2022 and 3rd Prize in Chamber Music at Higher Level in the Young Musicians Prize 2024; in the Folefest Competition he won the Best Performer Prize (2019, 2021) and 1st Prize in the chamber music category at Higher Level (2022, 2024).
