The collaboration between the portuguese contemporary music Concrète [Lab] Ensemble under the direction of João Quintero and the 5 italian composers has been aimed to this recording of new compositions for instrumental ensemble and electronics. The 5 composers are very different and, despite their young age, already with a clear musical identity. MONOLITE is composed as an album to be listen as a unity, the composers worked on the same original ideas and material tranforming and interpreting them through their personal composing techniques and aesthetics.
